Steve Hannan is the chief information & risk officer for Landmark Credit Union. He is a transformative leader who challenges his teams to find innovative solutions for delivering profitable growth and improved associate and member experiences. Hannan oversees information technology, information security, enterprise project management office, legal, risk and compliance, security and fraud, and back-office operations. In his role, Hannan is uniquely positioned to strategically align operational activities and business initiatives with Landmark’s risk tolerance and compliance requirements. Prior to joining Landmark in 2017, he served as chief information officer (CIO) for Dohmen Life Science Services and in IT leadership roles at Assurant Health, Sentry Insurance and Andersen Consulting/Accenture.
Hannan has a Bachelors of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is co-chair of the United Way Technology United Council and leads the Reskill/Upskill Committee of the MKE Tech Hub Coalition. Hannan is a 2023 National CIO of the Year Orbie award winner from InspireCIO, and a 2022 CIO of the Year Orbie award winner from the WisconsinCIO chapter of InspireCIO.
